Viajera del Río (River Traveler) is a waltz created by the Venezuelan composer Manuel Yánez. It is an emblematic piece of the Guayana region and primarily of the Bolívar state. The composer wrote it while observing from the promenade of Ciudad Bolívar the clusters of the aquatic plant bora (Eichhornia crassipes), also known as water lily or chupachupa, moving along the Orinoco River.
This musical instrument is called the cuatro of Venezuela.
